on one level it’s the state’s loss that it indoctrinated me with an irrational reverence for it and made me want to help my fellow citizens only to create conditions that made that impossible. on another level it’s very much my loss, I would’ve been a great and maybe happy Jane Normalwoman

I tried so fucking hard to be normal, have had at this point three different ‘proper’ career opportunities in public service that have just failed to work because I was unwilling to shrink myself to pretend to be anything other than trans, and unfortunately it seems it’s unemployability as a result

Jesus Christ. fuck every single person in this awful country. if anyone I interact with is more likely than not to think I’m a danger to women who shouldn’t be allowed to use toilets or access the healthcare I need to stay alive, I am simply not going to help any of them ever again

if most people don’t believe people should be allowed to *socially* transition (which is fucking nothing, let’s be honest here) then they simply do not believe that trans people are morally equivalent to cis people. if this is the case then trans people are frankly justified in doing (redacted)
