On the train to London for Spurs vs the nomads. The train is filled up with people wearing scarves that look like barbers' poles. I'm sure the world is filled with Arsenal fans who are bloody good people; I just haven't met any. My only hope is all of their return journeys are filled with misery.

Ok so I got anti-Semitically abused leaving Everton today and as a pro Palestine non Jewish atheist it was a bit odd. Got rushed by some Everton fans who yelled 'free Palestine' at me and then ran off celebrating. I can only assume they assumed all Spurs fans were Zionists. Odd.

A draw away to Monaco is a perfectly respectable result however this game certainly doesn't make me at all excited to be going all the way to Everton v Spurs this weekend.

Just noticed where the Spurs fans are sitting in Monaco, glad I didn't go, think I'm closer to the pitch on my sofa in Oxford.
