I would like to say a word or two about what the NYT did (or did not) do on the front page of the Sunday April 6 edition. Putting together a physical, printed newspaper is more complex than simply posting something on the internet.

That is a tall order. We live in a culture where it is very difficult to survive without buying stuff--food, computers, etc. Perhaps we we might try to be selective. Further, the trouble is, I'm communicating this message with technology. It's tough to abstain, I think.
