I know a lot of filmmakers who quite disliked the movie. But none of us dislike it as much as others clearly do like it, and certainly not enough to get called a Nigerian bot by the online hordes!

Less so than you think. I think there's an enormous online distortion field to all the arguments. People really bully each other out of the discourse in both directions. It's not indicative of how most people actually feel.

Not to wade into these waters too much… but some people including normal even liberally minded Star Wars fans legit just didn’t like the movie and thought its script was garbage. There’s room for disagreement without a conspiracy theory.

1 it's only one more movie! Be a completionist.
2 #4 is very different than #3, if for no other reason than it brings back Gene Hackman as LL.
3 NUCLEAR MAN was awesome when I was a kid.
The movie isn't great by most standards, but you'll at least have the satisfaction of being a completionist!
