The FBI is just people, like us, not perfect. Older of us remember big cases where they got it wrong for long periods of time, like Atlanta Olympic bombing or anthrax cases. Human and organizational imperfection is timeless. We can support them to be apolitical and professional and capable.

How do they benefit? I never understood who is on the other side of this issue and why since physicians, hospitals, patients, pharma, communities would seem to favor insurance.

Recently Justice Gorsuch spoke of a troubling ratchet where it was easier for congress to delegate to a president than to get it back. If control of independent agencies goes to POTUS, along with their rule making and adjudication powers, that’s a big delegation. Better to end the entire agencies.

Concentrating power and destabilizing the system. What if Robert’s had had a broader education in history, science, organizations? But he was educated in political service to the executive branch and clearly blind to his blind spots.
