Such self-serving hogwash. Independent, fact-based U.S. journalism is on life-support as a business. McKenzie, interestingly, runs a “media org” that platforms lots of refugees from legit news orgs destroyed by broligarchs who hate real journalism. It also platforms right-wing extremists.

Minting this coin, while Trump is alive, appears to be illegal. The 1866 Thayer amendment says "no portrait or likeness of any living person shall be engraved or placed upon any of the bonds, securities, notes, or postal currency of the United States."

Reuters: Trump‘s Pentagon is sending three Navy destroyers to coastal Venezuela to “fight drug cartels.” In all, mobilizing 4,000 sailors Marines in a counternarcotics deployment in the southern Caribbean. Not sure how this will shake out and whether the idea is to provoke Maduro’s armed forces.
