This is not to say that I think that Trump will actually abolish voting & install a dictatorship, only that his movement is infused with explicitly antidemocratic & authoritarian ideas. My guess is rather that Trump will take the U.S. in the direction of Hungary & Turkey.

Perhaps it's now time for organisations whose core missions include promoting evidence-based inquiry (e.g., universities and their academic units, learned societies, research centres, some think-tanks) to stop using X altogether to platform their work? Asking for (quite) a (lot of) friends.

Calling people who correct false information a censorship regime is of course, a great example of Doublespeak. The whole foundation of scientific knowledge is based on the search for truth, and correcting for falsehoods.
