My Dad was a CP Engineer who was badly injured in a dayliner accident in Ellerslie when a semi crossed the track against the warning lights. It was considered a "prime" route as you could go up and back the same day. Always grateful he survived that accident.

It also shines the spotlight on how companies wait for the government to bail them out and mandate workers back to work rather than bargain in good faith. Surely after 8 months, this deal could have been worked out before strike action and lockouts were necessary.

Unknown amount but probably millions in severance for all the people they have fired.

Bonnie also pointed out that as an independent MP she could wield more influence than PP as she would hold one of those critical 3 votes needed by the minority Liberals.

This is really important messaging.
