osu players suffer from chronic stockholm syndrome for thinking a shitty outdated feature from Elite Beat Agents is fit for modern mechanically-intensive beatmaps. when devs neglect the core gameplay for eons, players will inevitably be brainwashed into thinking overdue changes "feel like cheating"
