Its only an easy mistake to make because people have so many different interpretations of characters in fanart that wildly deviate from the source materials, they may as well be ocs at that point.

Not really. I'm pretty particular to drawing noelle near exactly like her sprites, so there are a lot of differences aside from being a deer and having buck teeth. (Lynn was human back in 2016 and had blond hair to begin with. Deltarune did have an influence on me.)
