Why are US animated movies so fucking expensive:
-other countries offer grants, tax exemptions and public subsidies for artists + financial incentives to hire local. We dont.
-Marketing budgets. Test screenings. A SHIT ton of money goes to this.
-Hiring big name actors/writers

I know there are aloof/standoffish cats out there but I think media needs to kill the uncaring cat trope once and for all. My big orange cat got me through the worst times in my life with an almost uncanny understanding of when I was upset. I think cats understand and show love just as much as dogs.
