The sun was out today, after a few days of rain. There will be more rain to come.

It doesn't matter how much someone says they care about you, you'll most likely be on your own. Things happen. People become busy.

I bought the 20th anniversary vinyl of Evanescence's Fallen album.

I had to buy this edition before it was no longer available!

This was one of the albums I listened to as a teenager. I still listen to it through adulthood. ❤️

If you invite me to go somewhere and I don't want to go, stop trying to get me to go.

I don't want to go, simply because I don't feel like going. I shouldn't have to explain myself. Boundaries exist. Respect the boundaries.

I finished reading Daughter of Sparta by Claire M. Andrews a few days ago.

I liked it. I liked the story, characters, and pacing. I like Greek mythology overall and this book didn't disappoint (me). 😁

I definitely wish I were as brave, confident, and resilient as Daphne! ❤️

I forgot to post this on BlueSky yesterday. 😆 As 2025 comes to a close, I can say two things:

1) I've learned that nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday.
2) I've aged another year.

What will 2026 have in store? I hope it'll be better than 2025.

All of the leaves have fallen. I don't remember when the last leaf fell. It was probably before winter officially started.

It's a gloomy day today and the tree is gloomy as well. 🤔

I bought Linkin Park's Lost Demos vinyl from Target a week or so ago.

It had been out of stock for a while, so I didn't think I'd ever get to buy it. I also didn't know when or if it would be restocked.

So, when it was available, I jumped at the chance in case it becomes sold out again! 😆

If only my mind were as peaceful as this Japanese tea garden area.

I need to empty my mind and find my center. 🧘‍♀️
