This will not work. And a lot of these half assed police’s DACA deferred action; sanctuary locales that don’t hand over people the Feds want — it is going to have be more coherent policy that’s less half assed because this whipsaws people every time a new president is elected

It definitely does, though? It means not complying with federal law including requests from feds to detain people, and they actually can’t do that if it comes to that.
