If I’m being honest, my biggest issue with the game was echoed in Edge’s review: The combat was fun, but suffered from not having enough slots for Paradigm Shift compositions.

For as much as my feelings are mixed on XIII, my main problem with the presentation was the decision to follow the trend of western games with the 3rd person camera. I think that was the main contributor to its “corridor” criticism (e.g., FFX didn’t suffer from that w/ its more “cinematic” camera).
