I'm stunned to find that Bluesky has a 300 character limitation. WTF! I can understand having a limitation but not 300 characters. I do hope they change. Similarly, with its very tight restrictions on file size for pics and videos. This is 2025 after all.

𝗜𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗮. A few years ago I had the extraordinary privilege of dining with the legendary novelist and politician. I was reading 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑠 when I heard of this death. It brought a tear. His novels, which he told me he writes in longhand (yikes), are simply brilliant.
