There's no guarantee anything will happen, and Dems needed to make a decision quickly to get 50 on the ballot.

Jeffrey - I voted for the independent commission, but it only works if all States do it and you don't have an authoritarian federal government demanding "independent" states rig Congressional maps. Now all bets are off. Prop 50 will go back to the independent commission in 2030. #YesOnProp50
