Sometimes you don't feel inspired or into drawing that day. Went out to Ballard Sketch Team on Tuesday and made myself commit to some output. This rough and imperfect thing was the result.

Playing D&D with the Wednesday night crew. The battle at the old mill against the Spider Gang. Terrain is @dwarvenforge.bsky.social but customer paints. Nice to have some time to laugh and relax with friends in this world that falling apart. Keeping some community alive.

Grey Cat Lost from Dune 93 created at Hugo House in Aug. Suicide is difficult topic. Society has a tough time talking about it. We barely talk about death. She loved Seattle and seemed fitting to include in Dune. Which is a very Seattle entity. She could be part of this city and its longer memory.

Trying to reclaim old watercolor skills. This was done with a mixture of in-house sticky caps watercolors from @pushpullseattle and Beem paints. Trivia bit is my first recognition for art was when I won an honorable mention with a watercolor landscape in 6th grade. #comix #horrorart #altcomics

Beautiful spring hike on the Lower Big Quilcene Trail. We traveled up Camp Jolly at the 5.1 mile marker. The river and streams were flowing with unreal clarity. Saw some deer, birds, and old growth cedars towering over head. No sounds of civilization were hear deep in the valley.

A vivid rainbow formed today over Seattle during our spring showers. Seen from Ballard.
Long day at work that started at 7 am that led to rushing to cook dinner before running to catch Prison Affair (Barcelona). surprised to see a very large and youthful crowd with a fun swirling pit. Great band live with a real unique guitar lead to the punk beats that mix thunder w/ tight rhythms.
