Let's talk about the "escalation ladder". At any point in a conflict, you have a number of self-defense options ranging from lower risk (legally, ethically, physically) to higher risk.
On the bottom rung of the escalation ladder are options like raising your voice. At the top would be deadly force.

Cybersecurity folks: hundreds of members of Hezbollah were just injured across Lebanon when their pagers (yes, pagers) exploded in their pockets. Israel is likely responsible, and from the videos/photos it looks like they caused the batteries to explode.
