Imagine if thats how they beat their Tegami thing.
With just Duu winning, it made Kuu a bit pointless, and odd with him being the king at the end, we never get to see Kuu win any fights to see how strong he actually is.

I think the witch lady literally used a piece of Majin Buu to create Duu after Kuu noped out of his fight. I assume that would give him Buu's power too, or at least it SHOULD.
