I love this time of year in the PNW. Doing maintenance on my garden is enjoyable to me and doesn't feel like a chore at all. I planted a couple strawberry starts last year and they really multiplied! I dug up about 50 clusters to store them for next year. Absolutely elated to see the Mycorrhizae.
The root systems of some of the strawberry plants that I dug up had that beautiful white fuzz that all gardeners just love to see. Mycorrhizae is present in my garden and I couldn't be happier. More evidence of a healthy root system with Mycorrhizae in multiple parts of my garden.

Pictures of Artemis' third experience at the Pumpkin 🎃 Patch! It was such a fun day with beautiful weather here in the PNW (SW Washington State). So happy to see Temi enjoying herself alongside many of our neighbors.
First time ever that I won a prize in the mini-pumkin launch (third photo). 🎃🏆 🪧
Artemis enjoys playing with the Tonka truck in the large play pit filled with corn kernels. Artemis smiling and looking down the road while going on the hay ride at the pumpkin patch this year. Artemis and I holding our prize from winning the mini-pumkin launch challenge for the first time ever! She picked out a cute little festive lawn ornament sign. Artemis standing proudly after having successfully ascended the hay bale pyramid. First year she was brave enough to attempt it by herself.

Two Italian Stone Pine Trees that I just recently planted in the ground from a container. I had up-potted them 3 times over many years while pruning branches and roots in a bonsai-esque manner. Very happy to see their new growth and evidence of establishment. #Gardening #StonePine #Bonsai-Esque

Artemis enjoying the zoo lights and our front garden lights ✨️
Artemis stands in the middle of my front garden bed, having fun playing with the blue and white lights strung around one of my potted miniature fir trees. The tree stands at just about the same height as Artemis (around 2.5-3 feet). Artemis is smiling and looking up and away from the camera, probably at the moon or a streetlamp behind me.

Wanted to share a few pictures of the nice things I saw in a bird shop near me.
Neat bat houses and bat art at a bird 🐦 shop near me. Beautiful spiral art where the artist used river rock 🪨 and drift wood 🪵. Fun signs for the garden, patio or porch.
