It’s crazy to me to see Republican members of Congress taking credit for things that are happening in their state even though they voted against the bill they are taking credit for. And what’s crazier is that their constituents continue to fall for it.

I had someone tell me today that because the Cheeto hasn’t been sentenced yet he hasn’t really been convicted of 34 felonies. I was like, that’s not how that works.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
