But I also am optimistic to a fault. We’ve cured diseases, built connect across oceans, explored space, and so much more! Humans can be great, but many of the most influential and powerful are not.

It feels like there are so many humans in the world who need to look inward and heal old wounds but are refusing to. I still believe people are inherently good and have the capacity for kindness but can’t be their best selves and cause harm instead. Wealthy people are especially guilty of this.
