We had a our kitchen drain pipe clog. Made of cast iron and it all is rotted and rusted solid. It all needs replaced. It took $5500 to find that out, and now we're having to fork over another $9800 to replace the whole 15 ft length. In case you didn't know, that's A LOT of money. 🫣

My advice is to folks who are feeling deep stress over the political climate. If possible, unplug. Go outside.
Physically, go outside and spend some time there, be present with the external world. If possible, connect with people you care about. Be present in the current moment.

Everything decided to go haywire at one of my rental houses. I replaced the gas range with brand new, then had to hire a plumber to put a modern gas valve in. Then, my tenant said her sink wasn't draining. The plumber will be back this am. $900 spent...happy tenant, priceless.
