I'm making a shoe/book/flatspace shelf for a friend and their family; wanted to show off some of the work before I start staining.
The symbol is a variant of the Greek godess Hestia's hearth and temple markers. It's a variant because this one is mine because it's me, the little hearth goddess. <3

A storm blew through and knocked some got a bunch of deadfall processed into usable firewood and got some general forest management stuff done.

Found some deadfall hickory that still had great wood in it, now to dry it out a bit so we can figure out what we're really working with.
We're thinking of using them for an altar shelf in the bedroom, a little place for smellgoods and tokens.
