50-something queer and furry with rotating fursonas, but always the badger at heart. No drama. No bullshit. No poking the badger.

"My preference" is just code for racist fuckery.

We all pushed through together: LGB and T. I use "rainbow" to describe us.
I keep a lot of guards up--to the point I can't drop them. A few drinks lets the walls and guards down.

I've found that since being diagnosed autistic and telling myself that it's okay to be weird, a few guards are falling. But a lot are still up.

I'm going to launch a patreon, so I want to have content up there and then move on with Reforged. I'll also get the print issues put on PDF. But looking at the direction in which the winds are blowing, reading is on the sunset as we move to audio and video transmission of information.

I also wonder how the people who clutched their pearls over "nazi furs fuck off" badge ribbons in 2018 feel now?

It's always "just playin!" until they reach critical mass of people.

Meanwhile, 25 years ago, I was blasting and railing against Nazifus and Nazifurries.

...and was demonized because I was being a "killjoy" who was "ruining the fun" of the broad canvas #furry #fandom offered.

My grandfather served in WWII. There is no "just costuming." Snuff that shit.

Meanwhile, I wonder if all the people who clutched pearls about the "nazi furs fuck off" badge ribbons in 2018 finally realized how fucked their worldview was, and how it helped this community grow?

So when he (and other Internet-posturing "radical" progressives) and his anti-Clinton shit talking got Trump elected in 2016, he got a new enemy and villain to joust windmills against.

Nothing changes--just the masks and the shitpostings.

I always wished that I'd written June Lockhart to thank her for being an ally. This clip was just past Stonewall--when even identifying as queer-friendly had serious social repercussions.

If anything, knowing that all of them are in their mid-70s, it felt like the perfect farewell and send off for two bands who helped set my course in life and whose music saw me through some of my darkest and brightest hours.

But from the first drum beat and Fred Schneider’s vocals on “Cosmic Thing” at the beginning to final notes of “Freedom of Choice” as the closer, my guards were down and eyes wet. I was sharing space with Gerald Casale, whose Night Flight interview hit me like a lightening strike.
