That's true. I used to shoot humans of new york-esque photos before but stopping for 4 years made me clam up and get shy again haha

I used to ride shotgun and shoot up close in a car or dial up the shutter to get good closeup shots in traffic lol. I only have a 50mm now tho so it's hard to be shy and shoot street

The "poverty porn" part is really what I'm struggling right now when going back to street. I'm having a hard time shooting street because it feels like Im exploiting them or something. I mostly shoot on aperture mode, got a used full frame nikon (first full frame!) and I'm loving taking photos again
