Just when I thought my outdoor swim season was finished I performed a lifesaving challenge to honor the heroic rescue of father and son by Kaj Walther on Nov 7, 1941. I swam 400m without a wetsuit or other neoprene in 9C water. Half of the swim was towing a dummy.

Doing a lot of swimming, both wild and short course. This was a lifesaving challenge commemorating a heroic action from 1941. 400m swim in 9C water, towing a dummy for half of it. Not so much on social media. Hope you are well too.

Last swim of my outdoor season! 2km in beautiful water in Rungsted, Denmark with fellow open water enthusiasts and inflatables.

I had just made myself an invisibility cloak out of vintage towels, thus the suggestion. (It’s for more modesty in the all gender changing area of my open water swim club)
