Stinky dotnet developer. If I'm not programming, I'm wrangling kids. There is no in-between.
It didn't. I ended up not trying something.

Just looked up what it takes to be confirmed Catholic. Indeed, reading the Scripture was not one of those requirements.

That would make sense from your perspective, someone who has never read the religious text.

I don't understand why we are celebrating man's fall from grace as "yearning for freedom"? Seems like something the snake in the garden would say. Yikes.

You hate minorities? Calm down there, bozo! I thought we were all friends here.

Trump has broken your brain hard, bud. I'd find something else to think about.

I may not be stating my position well in the character limit. PowerShell is great for SysAd/Azure stuff. PowerShell is not very good at being a general purpose scripting language. We need something like that in the dotnet ecosystem.

Oh no! You heard someone not affirming your point of view! *Slowly dissolving*

If it's that great for beginners, why aren't we teaching it to new programmers?

I think you're replying to the wrong person. There were no questions o.O

PowerShell is about 1/3 of all code I write for work. But in the case of teaching people to code, I would never tell them about PowerShell. It's just not meant for that. If there's someone wanting to learn to script and they are an IT professional (helpdesk or sys ad), of course.

When talking with people interested in programming, how many are recommended PowerShell over Python or JavaScript?

I've built powerful GUI applications in PowerShell. I know it can do awesome things. I've been there! It's just not written for people wanting to learn to code. We need more async :)
