Even the girls start hating each other a few episodes in and despite being interesting give all of that up to fight over the one of the most boring boys in the Gundam franchise. And yes it does include GCucking the name isn’t clickbait. For what it’s worth, the action was also bad.

How did all of this incredible work become a series that wastes its time on nostalgia flashbacks that don’t matter, never has any of the main characters interact in a meaningful way beyond the 1st few episodes, becomes a kingdom hearts story for some reason, giving up everything fun about it.

2/5, I liked the farming stuff and Shinji slowly coming out of depression with time and space. I liked the talk with Gendo, every fight sucked, and Mari was an awful character. Idk why a Asuka has to be a clone, it implies Shinji is as well, and cheater man being Martyred and lionized sucks to see.

If Mari has no haters then I am dead. The only character she has any chemistry with is Asuka. Why wasn’t she Asukas love interest instead of Shinjis, why is she randomly a combination of Mary and Judas? Why is she a pedophile??? Why does she end up with him???? What is he trying to say here?????
