Using free time effectively is a skill that you have to develop, and if you are always on the job, you don't develop that.
So, not knowing what to do when not working means that yes, you are almost certainly a workaholic

Rowling, and now Peterson. Next, wre gonna find out the mold held the gun that shot Kirk.

Critical support for mold?

If the employer/operator/government was so willing to improve the operating conditions, then the strikes wouldn't have been necessary or even desired by workers to begin with.
Whenever there's strikes, it's almost guaranteed the underlying reasons for the strikes have been ongoing for a LONG time.

So, were those funds actually going to fixing or modernizing the infrastructure, or is that just what the government/rail operators say they can't do now because of the strikes?

No, the reality is that strikes rarely, if ever, actually prevent upcoming positive changes.

This IS what is going wrong with the country. This isn't "The government is trying but failing to make the country better, and instead doing this"

Republicans HATE the US, and this is how they WANT to destroy it. This isn't just them being stupid, this is them finally getting their way.

Otherwise, they will simply acknowledge that it's monstrous, but "It simply has to be done, and we are real men for doing the tough job", or something like that.

So he was right in that both Hogans Heroes and Star Wars did bad.
Star Wars made them look too cool, and HH made them look harmless.

They should never be depicted as harmless. It should always be clear that what they are doing is terrible and terrifying. But they should also be depicted as sniveling losers and people who don't understand just how ridiculous they look from the outside.

The unfortunate thing is that Nazis actually like being depicted as scary and uncaring machines. It makes them feel cool and badass.

Ironically, depicting them as buffoons and clowns is good, but not if you make them look harmless.

This is why Nazis love American History X, but not Jojo Rabbit.

Even that aside, the use of "Students" here is EXTREMELY misleading.

They were ENGLISH MAJOR STUDENTS, INCLUDING SOME WHO COMPLETED THE COURSE
If anyone should be able to read it, it's them.

This makes it clear it's not just a stupid piece, but it's actively lying to you
June 23, 2025 at 1:12 AM
For what reason? Because of fate?
Because there's plenty of people who DO die. Do those deserve to die because it was "meant to be"? Would saving them somehow cause more harm?

This is cope, just like it being "gods plan" to give a child cancer
June 20, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Well, yeah, it was intended to be an insult. If you then claim it as not-negative, that makes them veri angy :C

Do not give them the opportunity to look cool. They love having badass-looking images to support their beliefs.

Make them look silly and stupid

You have to campaign and MAKE people to see what you stand for.
That's why Trump voters express liking and would consider voting Bernie, despite him being DIAMETRICALLY opposite to Trump.

Because he's loud, advocating for actual change, and speaks populist rhetoric.

Like Trump.
It. Works.

Face it, descriptively, elections are a popularity contest. Perhaps the most important one in existance, but still.

People have lives, work, hobbies. They can't spend every day following politics.
