For an owner who only cares about money- this seems about right.
As a fan of the game of baseball- I would certainly be willingly to lose an entire season in order to eliminate teams from being able to buy championships. It’s time for a cap and floor with the next CBA.
The spending disparity is only going to continue to get worse in the future if nothing changes.

I get this! After years of traveling to watch my son’s hockey- he’s not sure if will continue next year. I think it’s going to be harder on me than him, but I know we’ll all miss it if it’s over.
