My friend wanted me to play with her recently, I'm still recovering from the sheer sticker shock of what they want from you money wise for a fairly average "single player" mmo. They now have a content pass and you cant buy the expansions in a collections anymore! they added sub-classing tho 😵

My life was in upheaval when the games came out so I wasn't keeping up with things, all I ever saw was the aftermath. I am a social creature so I couldn't help but see the redflags presented by the very online children surrounding the games lol. I think I'll have to give the games a shot soon tho!

I mean at the end of the day I'm a consumer and I would very much like more options than less. I really don't see what the issue could be for people that don't embrace an all-digital future to keep pushing back on it, even if it's a very tough fight.

I disagree, and if they have it there way you'll be paying that $100+ anyway to have a serial number on a server somewhere.
Push back on this sort of thing is always good and does no real harm outside of annoying very online indaviduals who see people talk about it a bit too much.
