Happy Pokemon Day! Please have some WIPs of Pokemon-centric stuff for the occasion because I am never not thinking about Pokemon and in fact still live. :) #Pokemon #PokemonDay #OCs
Old (semi-abandoned) initial concept for my Kalosian-based pastry queen, Phylly (Phyllomena Hazel Suzette)! She stands short (4'11" sweet tart) alongside her main two inspirational Pokemon, Roonie (Macaroon) the trans Sylveon and Souffie the Shiny Slurpuff, her first caught Pokemon happily jumping up into her open left palm for pets. New reference WIP for Phylly to better suit her place in Pokeverse (alongside friends) and her newly developed traits. Left is her past childhood/preteen [Trainer] self beaming proudly off to the side with a baby Souffie (shiny Swirlix) happily displayed in her arms. The main middle section displays her in the present young adulthood [Pastry chef/Patisserie owner] holding out a display tray of just some of her offerings (and allusions to her closest friend group), sticking her tongue out and blushing playfully to hide her workaholic hustle & bustle, with the starts of Roonie standing guard in front of her legs. Halcyon (aka Scion), a Sunflora and Raichu fusion priority gifted to by my Chustie on my birthday a year or so back! He stands eagerly awaiting affection and hugs with the tagline underneath his name in brackets reading "pls always give him uppies!" Needs redoing if only because the paint markers I had hoped to use on him, particularly the yellow shown here, failed to meet personal expectations and were much drier than when used prior to no avail. A Sunflora, Roselia & Bellossom fusion Sona! My favorite original flower Pokemon especially based upon my favorite flowers (sunflowers, roses and hibiscuses) along with some personal details. She stands (or sits, nobody can really see her feet, especially not for free in this economy) with a slightly open smile and dewy eyes as she holds up her rose-capped arms proudly.

Also want to POP the original sketch and close-up here too because that preservation is always important to me in my art journey but 9 times out of 10, it's such a fun part of the process for me! Today, I bestow upon you this sunshine fella of an Inkling, my son, Poppy, for his day-belated birthday! The first finished of a bigger self-imposed goal I have this year to design outfits based around my main flower children because flowers are so fantastic! So fun,,,so full of love 💙 #Splatoon
Poppy, my ever-smiling Inkling boy! He stands with an anchoring left-facing hand in his pocket and the other rightmost arm up in a literal sign of black nail polish-accented peace over a blue & orange bubble-lettered exclamation of his name because he's always so happy to see you! Close-ups to follow up on his whole personalized outfit, thank you and sorry already for my detailing OTL -> -> A bit of a close up for just the face to the name! A pair of gold wireless headphones with deep purple accents near the ends of the connecting loop and middles near the ear cushions sit snug a bit overhead. The medium blue bangs of his mush-cut obscure his skyrocketing eyebrows (they do exist, his friends vouch for that!) but frame his perpetually boyish bright face adorned with gold star stickers. His marigold purple poppy-patterned button down shirt with custom white flower buttons is as much of a lapse in judgment as him doing anything without the best intentions and flows freely over his skinny frame and obscures a symbolic simple necklace. Silvery capris bulk up and cap off his slim legs just before his ankles. His happy Hawaiian inspired look is fin-ished with sky blue slip-ons with hand-painted smiling sunflowers smack dab in the middle, accented with classic white trim! An even closer look especially at the top! All description prior applies here, and might I just say that I am still pleasantly surprised by the more orange-y toned shirt than originally envisioned. Aside from orange being my biased favorite (yellow is a close second), the accidental allusion to unseen but ever connected friends and family members that are closest to him in this happynstance is more than I could ever hope for in my little details dealings! Hehe <3 Close-up of the clover capris and sunflower steppers as I have dubbed them! Though yes, admittedly, the teeny clovers look less like shamrocks and more like broccoli at the end of the day, but that's a win to me in the amusement department anyway so yeah! I love my son, thank you for letting me share him <3

I love love reardless of relationship status, so I had to do even a little something for Valentine's Day, and Gorgeous here is a BIG advocate for it! Been wantng to make her since plush adoption and here she is~ May you know how loved and well worthy of love you truly are no matter what today! 💖💝
Gorgeous the red heart-spotted and light pink giraffe sticking out her dark tongue in affection and abounding in lovely vibes! Pun overhead starts "You set the bar so high," and continues underneath feet as "You're giraffin' me crazy!" "Happy Valentine's Day 2024 from Gorgeous the Giraffe" concludes sentiment for the day. Scarf/Ribbon tied in a bow to her right is initialed "I" and "U" with obscured middle initial not even placed in concept, but implied to be "L" with the tongue. Yes, the L stands for lick! /j The close-up of Gorgeous the giraffe from the previous whole piece <3 Very happy with this one even with traditional nitpicks The actual Gorgeous in her plush perfection <333 Sketch phase because I did not draw all those hearts for nothing haha and I still love the expression and details here very much c:

Navi the Senchu 2.0 (or Pikaret if you prefer?) in a middle evolution stage! Brown fur with white accents for her belly and paws; red & green star-shaped ears dotted with white smiley faces; dark indigo & green heterochromatic eyes with yellow sun accents on bottom and white pupils on top; dark indigo sugar plum cheeks with yellow ribbon atop them & nose; big green heart in middle of belly with red bullseye; Charlie Brown-like fir tree start tail with a gold star dangling off the end; red, green & white accents throughout like her parent Pokemon! The first picture but a little closer~ Sketch concept! Fun part of the process before taking a subconscious little break before painting her.

Today, I bring you a fusion baby girl, Navidad, for your kind consideration! I know she's got a lot going on but I adore her and hope you will too. Tomorrow? I- genuinely don't know, I never thought I'd get this far, but it has been very indulgent fun!
A very Christmas-y Pichu and Sentret fusion, Navidad (Navi for short), derived from her parent Pokemon Gingersnap (Shiny Alolan Raichu) and Feliz (Candy Cane Furret)! Unapologetically baby round & brown with white belly (with multilayered red green and white star pop in middle) & paw accents (with red & green paw separations); red & green star-shaped ears accented with the opposite side's color in a white-outlined heart in the middle; dark blue (left) and green (right) with yellow sun spot heterochromatic eyes; purple nose and wrapped present sugar plum cheeks; red & white neck fluff looking like upside-down snowcapped mountains; red & white striped flower pot tail with a dark green tree sapling as the end. She's happily looking at you with her little reddish tongue out in joy while holding a candy cane & gingerbread cookie respectively representing each parent! <333 The same caption as the first picture (sorrynotsorry I'm wordy) but without the final outlines and revisions! Today I bring you two of my beloved Pokebabies, Gingersnap & Feliz! Tomorrow? Who knows... ❤ 💚 #Pokemon #OCs
Gingersnap, a female shiny Alolan Raichu with a Christmas-y twist happily looking up at you with wintry night eyes and a candy cane in paws! Red & green ears adorned with the opposite side's color half-heart and white swirls; purple sugar plum cheeks, nose, tongue and feet paw pads dotted white; red & green accents throughout; sitting atop her light-adorned traditional tree tail topped with a shining gold star! Feliz, a male candy cane and snowscape-inspired Furret, looking up at you happily with his full jolly green & yellow ornament eyes and holding a gingerbread cookie! Red & white alternating stripes; snowcap mountain tipped ears, white snowflake & heart accents atop head; green presents wrapped up with yellow ribbons as cheek stripes; cheeky red tongue out with a snowflake; red & green accents on all four paws Feliz again, same as the previous picture of him but with black outlined eyes to match Gingersnap. Traditional art and decisions in it are fickle and I lapsed getting a picture of Gingersnap without hers outlined before I dove in. Not devastatingly regrettable but a learning moment of sorts personally when it comes to how I like the looks and vibes of my characters to come off. Still quite happy with the overall results but feel that the outline does suit Feliz more if only because his whole personality is "No thoughts, head empty, only love, heart full" and his eyes are meant to be ornaments rather than a seamless sort of scene like Alolan Raichu's. I hope you'll appreciate them too, thank you for sharing all this with me! <3
