There’s no reason for the Spurs to lose this game. The Kings are not a defensive defensive team, don’t have much size, have imperfect stars. We’re better across the board defensively.
Only way we lose is if we don’t take this seriously.

@amazonprime.bsky.social is horrible when it comes replays of NBA games on prime. Why is the replay only available in Spanish and why are there no subtitles in English? I don’t understand and it is incredibly frustrating that an English replay isn’t available for someone who missed the game …

Poor finish for the Spurs at the end of the first quarter with some bad turnovers … was expecting them to push that lead about to 14-16

Wemby saying in postgame that game feels fast. Seeing a new defensive scheme when in the mid-post and scrambling bodies is an adjustment that all offensive superstars go through. He'll figure it out.
Until that time, I imagine he could mix it up with the mid range + pick and pop.

Appreciated the Spurs response after the loss to PHX.

The immediate double that prevents Wemby from even making a move highlights importance of 3 point shooting and the lack of playmaking around him. Fox and Harper are needed now more than ever

1) Spurs need Fox. After Dylan went down, nobody from the perimeter able to consistently break down the D. Castle’s good, but he’s not a pure PG like Fox/Harper
2) The doubles on Wemby will mean open 3s. Need to make them

The start to the season's been so exhilarating and is so much more meaningful because of the struggles in the past few years. The hard work is coming together. No shame in celebrating 5-0.

Dylan Harper saved us in that 2-3 min stretch when Wemby had to go out. Really solid plays, wasn’t afraid. Super impressive game by the rookie!

He’s going to be a big piece this year for all these reasons. He’s worked on his finishing and while he’s not elite, he’s gotten better defensively.
If you think Devin Vassell's expendable/odd man out: brings 3pt shooting (need), secondary playmaking (need), and chemistry w/ Wemby. Bad year because injury took away preseason/offseason to work on his game + figure out role.
Not sure the incentive to trade since Harper's coming off the bench.
