Working on the bases of my first two duck unlts. The front is a 60x120mm magnetized base, so that in the future I can make bases with the fallen enemies I fight. Psychological warfare! :) #nerdlings #warhammerfantasy #tabletopgaming #miniaturesgaming #28mmminiatures #rankandflank #farflungfigures

Working on my first pike unit base. It needs a lot of empty frontage (60mm) due to the front pikes. I’m magnitizing everything so that I can switch front base depending on opponent, there’ll definitely be a base with fallen goblins on!

Today I bought a storage box for my ducks, and got the painted (not fully based) minis together for the first time. It’s starting to look like a small army now! Big boost for my motivation. #nerdlings

Four duck archers, more to come (including command group). These weapons have mainly been phased out in the more organized duck armies, but still sees plenty of use in the militias and border skirmishes. #indieminis #28mmminitures #handsculpted #tabletopminiatures

I’m quite happy with most of this barbarian duck sculpt, but the hand/sword connection feels a bit off. Might do the proper thing and go back, cut it off, and try to get a better fit. #miniature #sculpting #wargaming #tabletopminiatures #rpgminiatures #drakarochdemoner #dragonbane #glorantha

More ducks. These are based on rodeleros, sword-and-buckler skirmishers that complemented many pike formations in the 15th and 16th century. I intentionally made these ducks a bit shorter, as the mercenary commander would look for agile recruits that could dart in and out of a melee.
