I would think the only thing this does (from an Everton perspective) is motivate Leadenhall to allow the takeover to go through, as ACAP now seems to need capital. No bearing on TFG’s ability to pass owners test.

They aren’t going to do anything right before that murderers row of a December schedule. My guess is they really don’t want to make a change until the summer, as they may want someone currently employed.
