I heard that Longlegs (2024) was like a cross between Silence of the Lambs and Hereditary so I got excited…but while it’s a weirdly decent supernatural horror it’s actually not scary and not really much like either of those movies…worth a watch though

Drab, rainy day, but at least I visited a secondhand bookshop. Only a few contemporary poetry books to rummage through - I got this one mainly because I liked the title which is also in a haiku of mine

Just finished watching The Well (2023) and was disappointed- I know it’s Italian horror so expect gore but this movie was too gruesome and all the screaming was way too much. Shame because it had potential and I actually liked the lore about the painting
