From what I can tell. Monkeys, primates in general, are hard to photograph.
Seriously, they have a habit of either wanting to be elsewhere or wanting to see the thing your holding in your hand.
Especially if it’s shiny, or pointing at them.

Ok this little dude was hard to get a pic of, incredibly low light. Difficult to see by the naked eye until they look at you and their eyes glow
Auto focus said no, manual it was in there.
