It also doesnt provide a massive amount of tax revenue as most of the well-paid senior engineering staff can work remotely from anywhere and you've given huge tax breaks/preferable rated to start with and spent a lot of tax money improving infrastructure (roads ,plumbing) for them

Maybe ,he is good at diplomacy but given the amount of concessions he makes to Belligerent foreign leader (...Trump,Nethanyahu,Xi Jinping,... etc ) we would need to have a PM with backbone to reign him in .

Ive been saying ,its baffling,its such an open goals for the govt to defend the BBC (a still very much beloved uk institution) against a deeply unpopular Trump ,they could sell its defense under the banner of patriotism that even the centre-right would support.but theyd rather bend the knee to again

Love the bit about Polanski taking credit for a potential Decision by Reeeves to increases tax on the rich (aside from the fact she was swearing blind she wouldnt do that just over 8 months ago,so something has changed) but also such a back-handed way of admitting some of Polanskis policies are good

This is exaggerated ,I think ,by the consecutive British governments (and,in their defence,..British society's) heavy emphasis on incarceration as a punitive and deterrent tool instead of having an emphasis on reform and rehabilitation as means of dealing with criminality

I think that youve actually highlighted the danger in the Labour approach ,if you give Reform policies legitimacy by agreeing with them and by extension legitimise the racially based "grievances" of their supporter, when Reform,the party, implodes,just another Farage-type figure will take his place
