It also doesnt provide a massive amount of tax revenue as most of the well-paid senior engineering staff can work remotely from anywhere and you've given huge tax breaks/preferable rated to start with and spent a lot of tax money improving infrastructure (roads ,plumbing) for them

Maybe ,he is good at diplomacy but given the amount of concessions he makes to Belligerent foreign leader (...Trump,Nethanyahu,Xi Jinping,... etc ) we would need to have a PM with backbone to reign him in .

Love the bit about Polanski taking credit for a potential Decision by Reeeves to increases tax on the rich (aside from the fact she was swearing blind she wouldnt do that just over 8 months ago,so something has changed) but also such a back-handed way of admitting some of Polanskis policies are good

This report was brought to you by-wait for it - Epoch AI 🤔.The IEA tells a different story - "Platforms like Open AI’s ChatGPT,compared to Google Search, require an additional 10TWh of additional electricity per year. As Open AI’s ChatGPT usage increases, electricity demand will surge as well"

November 9, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Exactly! Starmer reminds me of one those bosses who goes to a tech fair and buys into all of the sales pitches and then blows all the budget on stuff that's not fit for purpose

I think that youve actually highlighted the danger in the Labour approach ,if you give Reform policies legitimacy by agreeing with them and by extension legitimise the racially based "grievances" of their supporter, when Reform, the party, implodes, just another Farage-type figure will take his place
October 29, 2025 at 11:02 AM
Haha yeah those gobshites are annoying as well ,especially the "I made it big so you could too if you just have to work hard enough..." Crowd who conveniently ignore their family connections that helped them get the investment to begin with .
