Completely shutting them off from it ignores that it’s a huge part of modern communication, education, and even creative expression. It also doesn’t teach them how to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

Banning social media entirely could drive kids to access it in secret, making their interactions even harder for parents to monitor or guide. social media itself isn’t inherently bad. The real issue is how it’s used and the kind of content children are exposed to.

Completely agree - it was great to see gaming portrayed as something meaningful, rather than the usual, lazy and cliched stereotypes.

More people need to understand how gaming communities provide connection and purpose for so many, especially those who feel isolated.

Doesn’t this require a specific set of conditions (conviction, suspended from the commons etc) for this to be valid? Peter Bone was suspended so I think that triggered a by-election. As I understand, constituents can’t force a by-election through a petition without those conditions being met.
