First time in her life (in 3 days it will be the 8th anniversary of her adoption) that a political debate was on the tv that she didn’t flee the room in worry because I was yelling obscenities. She’s used to my laughing and snapping, so she could rest.

Yes! So glad they released this news before the finale of Interview With the Vampire on Sunday. I can truly luxuriate in it knowing I don’t have to fear it is the final episode ever!

I recently rearranged my living room, puck believes it was specifically so that she could look regal in a sunbeam. I wish I was that forward thinking. Really there was just no other place for it. Don’t tell her.

He’s 21 today. I’m incredibly grateful for him, and proud of my now bonafide adult son. Also he was the cutest baby I had ever seen (duh).
