The whole premise of Doremi S2 might seem insane, but fortunately it's explained by the fact that regular witches' approach to parenting make 9 year olds look competent in comparison

Ah yeah, happened to me a couple of times too.

Must have been all my "can't wait to go 12 Angry Men" comments

Every one of these potentially character developing challenges is just flatly and easily resolved in the same episode it's brought up. Deeply weaksauce.

The reason it is nevertheless better than Princession is that Princession doesn't even have these challenges at all.

"Character is going to move overseas?" Instead of figuring out how to deal with it, or doing something to persuade the parents she really needs to stay behind, the parents just randomly decide not to move after all.

The show essentially picked the most boring option at Every Point.

"Idol club is at risk of being disbanded?" Instead of re-examining the club and making changes the antagonist character decides to change her mind because the gang works hard I guess

It was bad, and I'm saying this as someone who loved both Wonderful and Soaring.

Characters basically tread water for 50 episodes with very minimal development. Never really figured out what it wanted to do with the Idol premise.

Better than Princession tho

Why didn't you expect this? Shouldn't journalists be bringing those examples up?

ChatGPT is wrong. It missed the "to another person" part of the claim. Hemingway's Nobel was given to the Cuban catholic church to hold and display on behalf of the Cuban people. That is not to another person.
January 19, 2026 at 11:46 AM
Hemingway gave his away "to the people of Cuba", specifically by putting it in the custody of the Cuban catholic church. Arguably that's not the same as to a specific person.

Don't forget the AI subtitles business they had last year.

Yay, finally someone else who thinks ROD the TV is better than the OVA. You are right and correct!

(i'll forgive the nyamu slander)

This was the central point in the US's entry to WWI. It was relaxed in WWII only insofar as necessary to not excessively endanger submarine crew from enemy reinforcements.

Vessels can board and search vessels, they can arrest the crew, they can't just shoot them when they are defenceless!
December 19, 2025 at 6:35 PM
In fact, EVEN in a state of armed conflict and we are talking about actual guns and weapons being smuggled through a blockade, the historical position of the US had been that in the absence of resistance and formal military status, vessels must secure the lives of the passengers and crew.

Usually using the "self defense for our boys" excuse.

I guess the mask has slipped. He's just pro-war crimes.

No actually I think they knew drugs were a thing when they were concieving of the rules of war
December 19, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Oh so what are we scared of these boat survivors doing, are they gonna throw fentanyl at sailors?
December 19, 2025 at 5:27 PM
What exactly equips a pundit with expertise in the "special ops need to commit war crimes" song-and-dance to opine on naval engagements between naval vessels and small sinking boats?
December 19, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Is this about the Amazon Fire TV stuff?

In the legal presumed innocent sense. But just like the presumption of innocence doesn't stop cops from arresting suspects, this argument doesn't forbid disobeying suspected illegal orders.
