Maybe continue as before, first time impressions are important part of the experience, but allow yourself the right to change the format if the story starts going wrong direction. Then you can read the rest to know if to go on or summarize the story in one episode instead and move on.

I listened to the 4th part of Jazzy Girl, I can only agree, the chapter felt un-sexy, and not even in a way to extract fun out of it. I wonder if writer intended it this way.
