Only in Singapore can you claim (we call it “Chope”- it’s a whole culture) your seat at a food court with your wireless earpiece/ portable chargers/ laptops. After 12 years of living here I still find myself in awe of it.

Update on Project BRING DOWN THE PALM TREES:

I got a massive gym rat, a hand saw, a ladder and some rope. The plan looks solid.

Hello #gardensky and #artsky - and all creative people! I’m looking to make these spent seed pods into little memorabilia for my home farm visitors. Does anyone have ideas? Thinking of bookmarks but they’re really fragile

This Thai Basil grew from the crevice of my longkang (“drain” in Malaysia). I intend to keep her and see her thrive! #gardening #permaculture I’m also looking into ways to make this drain beautiful and regenerative according to my farming principles!!!

Some people can’t be satisfied even with a trillion dollars. All I’m asking for is the liberation of humanity to reconnect and love nature, swim in our ocean waters and thrive together with our ecosystems

Apathy is a thing of the past. It’s not cool. It’s not sexy. Do not approach if you’re apathetic about the state of the world that YOU belong in.

I found some mushrooms that look like Tubaria but I really can’t be sure!! But that’s still a good sign of soil health right? Makes me happy to know all the work im putting in to building good soil is welcoming mushrooms

Beautiful #noni fruit that is growing in my little farm. Some say this fruit stinks worse than durian and the texture is gooey, giving it the nickname of the “blue cheese fruit”. But it has great healing properties, so I am thinking of hosting a get together for the daredevil foodies!

These are the 3 books I’m reading now + a packet of eggplant seeds LOL

I just have seeds everywhere in my house at this point.

Can’t wait to learn more about native plants in Malaysia and build more community knowledge 🙌

My expectations for the upcoming UN climate summit is that you don’t cut down an entire strip of Amazonian rainforest for it. #amazon #COP30 #climatecrisis #climatechange #unitednations

Peninsula sundew in the wild!! This little carnivorous baby grows in the damp sunny areas of Table Mountain. Just look at those special leaves with sticky hairs designed to trap insects!

It’s not flowering now, but seeing the base is already exhilarating.

Everyone on the trip rates the safaris as the absolute highlight of South Africa! I concur with how majestic they are. But as a tropical #plantmom who reveres the abundance of life that plants give, nothing feels more initiate than spotting a wild sundew on the top of #TableMountain.

After holding canned soft drinks for god knows how long, the blisters started forming. But the sharp pains beneath it still linger.

So thats the excuse for me for not gardening today 😔
