Agreed. I have smoke also for the producers and director of that movie who were ok casting her as Nina Simone when there were SO many other talented black actresses who understood and APPRECIATED Nina's plight --and would have been better. Mother Mississippi Goddam did NOT deserve such disrespect.

😂 . Everyone pictured on this album cover was in the original band. They patched things up and made this masterpiece. AND the sad part is that all but one are blood relatives. SMH. There's videos on YT breaking down the history too.
