There are other games that build out cities more than this and it isn't even their main focus. Game Freak had a bit of a concept but clearly didn't know what to do with it in execution.

There is so much more that they could have done with buildings and actual city planning. We go in so very few. They could have had much more of an underground/sewer system build out ("caves"). I would have even accepted adding loading zones to the wild areas to make them "bigger on the inside."

That said, I lived off Domino's and their rewards of free pizzas/etc when I was broke in uni (10+years ago) because of how well pizza stretched for multiple meals (and how bonkers broken their rewards system was). They've fixed their rewards somewhat but they do still have some of the best deals.

I have been trying to find Halloween and fall things (bc fav holiday) and they legit have been getting pushed down in seasonal sections of sites and stores by Christmas decor since like August. Pure insanity.

I do play some roms, but it's still frustrating to see as someone who would prefer to play the OG games legitly and increasingly feels priced out. Mostly sad that enough people will very likely still pay to encourage the practice and price hikes to companies.
