#Pistons defense starts slow and then comes on. Once they start running that depth at you with guys who can defend, the opponents start to get tired.

Detroit torched Atlanta for 35 in Q1, rare for #Pistons since Q1 is usually sluggish. Atlanta hit a half court shot at the buzzer to make it closer, but Pistons defense was good.

Detroit torched Atlanta for 35 in Q1, rare for #Pistons since Q1 is usually sluggish. Atlanta hit a half court shot at the buzzer to make it closer, but Pistons defense was good.

Skubal’s FA feels a lot like Scherzer ’14 — Max was 29 then, Skubal will be 30 in 2026. Same age concerns, same long-term contract worries, same regression talk, and what looked like an oversized deal. Scherzer’s 7yr/$144M contract ended up a bargain with two Cy Youngs.
