How do you cook your chickpeas? I'm a chickpea novice so I don't know how to do too much with them :(

Really proud with how it turned out when fully assembled. Milled the planks to reduce the amount of warp.
Added the legs and positioned it in the room. Cut and added the neoprene fabric layer. The neoprene is easy to vacuum and water resistant in the event something gets spilled. It also absorbs the impact of some of the metal dice people use for D&D. The final product, the detachable top is made of 5 1x8s that were planed and jointed to try to make it as level as possible and reduce warping of the rather cheap lumber. Overall very happy with how it turned out.

Testing out the fit of the detachable top and showing off the recessed area a bit Completed underside view Added the holes for the cupholders. Staining the visible parts of the frame. The plywood tabletop doesn't get stained because we're going to apply a fabric layer so there's no point spending the time on staining it.
