A bar chart of NFL stadiums in order of the average number of injuries per game. The chart is color-coded to show which stadiums have synthetic turf, grass or hybrid fields. The average number of injuries per game ranges from 5.32 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (grass) to 3.8 at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium (also grass). Atop the chart is the text “Seven of the 10 stadiums with most average injuries per game use synthetic turf, while 7 of the 10 stadiums with the fewest average injuries use grass.”
