I broke my ankle back in May, had a *few* complications in the treatment process and now need to start stretching a bunch of tendons (Achilles, Patella etc).
Can anyone recommend some exercises that I can do prior to getting the all clear to start weight bearing?

I have fallen hard for Quasimorph during the long days. Still early access but worth checking out in release if you like the idea of a turn based, survival extraction game

Looks like I’ll be having 3-5 procedures over the next few weeks, starting with debridement of the wound tomorrow. Urghhh

My brain tells me it’s a game I should like, it’s got the sort of aesthetic that I love and every time I watch a YouTube video about it, I get hyped. Then I’ll play it and….. meh?

Up at the fracture clinic again, 6 week post op, and it’s a bit dispiriting how gross the surgery wound on my leg still looks. Not healed as well as I’d been hoping

Addendum re: other nights advice for using @duckfeedtv.bsky.social shows to fall sleep in hospital to, the Somic the Hedgehog episodes of AD with @plumberduck.bsky.social bring a whole different kind of energy. Not advised for sleep.

Took a tumble yesterday and somehow managed to break my ankle. I broke my tibia into a bunch of pieces and fractured my fibula. Gonna be another lengthy hospital stay by the looks of it

I bought the 2023 version of Lords of the Fallen a while back. I played it a bit & although I enjoyed bits of it, it was awkward to play.
Mostly the combat felt a bit off. A mix of both clunky & unresponsive but oddly weightless, coupled with punishing numbers of enemies & a hideous lock on system

I bought the 2023 version of Lords of the Fallen a while back. I played it a bit & although I enjoyed bits of it, it was awkward to play.

The new PC will run Stalker 2, one of the worst optimised games I’ve ever played when it launched, at 75fps, at max settings and in 4K.
Which, now I’ve had time to examine my own motivations for buying it, makes me a giant mug. But it’s nice to treat yourself sometimes

Today I’ll be finishing NG on Armored Core 6 and heading into NG+.
The game is definitely better once you start unlocking multiple parts / builds. Ironically it’s harder at the start due to your lack of options. Several bosses took forever to beat. Now I have options to pick those locks

The physical act of unplugging a modern gaming PC, mining it to its new room and then having to do tonnes of cable management is *incredibly* offputting tho. Like, I’d rather have dental surgery offputting

The recentish WOFF episodes by @garybutterfield.bsky.social & @koleross.bsky.social inspired me to dust off War of the Chosen again, after a very, very long time. And then I found out you can get it on IPad for peanuts. Xcom on the move! Easy recommend it for non-PC owning gamers. It’s a classic.
